Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst (BA) with a strong background in healthcare to join our team on a contract-to-hire basis. This role offers remote work flexibility but requires occasional on-site meetings in Irvine, CA.

About the Role
As a Business Analyst, you will collaborate closely with Project Managers (PMs) and key stakeholders to support healthcare-related initiatives. You will play a critical role in gathering and analyzing requirements, documenting workflows, and assisting in user acceptance testing (UAT) as needed. Your expertise in Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems will be essential for ensuring smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities
Work alongside Project Managers to analyze current and future state workflows.
Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment with project goals.
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) efforts when necessary.
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including requirements, workflows, and sign-off approvals.
Facilitate communication between stakeholders and the project team to ensure alignment on expectations and deliverables.
Utilize analytical skills to identify and solve challenges related to healthcare processes and technology.
Qualifications & Skills
Prior experience in the healthcare industry is required.
Strong understanding of EHR/EMR systems and their role in healthcare workflows.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
Experience working in a Business Analyst role within a healthcare setting.

Location: Remote with occasional on-site meetings in Irvine, CA.
Employment Type: Contract-to-hire.
