Shown Media is a creative marketing agency specializing in high-performing ad creatives, brand storytelling, and full-scale content production for 7–9 figure e-commerce brands. We bring together a global team of strategists, editors, designers, and media buyers to produce content that not only looks incredible but also delivers results.

We’re now expanding our video team and looking for a talented Long Form Video Editor who can transform raw footage into captivating, story-driven content for YouTube and other digital platforms.

The Role

As our Long Form Video Editor, you’ll be responsible for editing documentary, vlog, and unscripted-style videos in a premium, YouTube-first style. You’ll work closely with our creative team to develop engaging narratives, refine pacing and flow, and ensure the final product resonates with audiences.

Responsibilities:

• Edit long form content (documentary, vlog, unscripted) from raw footage to polished final cut.
• Craft compelling narratives using interviews, b-roll, and voiceovers.
• Maintain consistent pacing, tone, and visual style in line with project goals.
• Collaborate with producers, creative strategists, and other editors to deliver on creative vision.
• Implement client and internal feedback efficiently while maintaining quality.
• Organize and manage project files for efficient workflow.
• Stay up-to-date with editing trends and storytelling techniques in long form digital content.

What We're Looking For:

• 🎬 Strong editing skills with a premium, YouTube-first sensibility.
• 📚 Story-driven approach with excellent pacing and flow.
• 🧠 Ability to take raw, sometimes unscripted footage and shape it into an engaging final product.
• 🗣️ Fluent in English (spoken and written) for clear communication.
• 🕒 Preference for Eastern Standard Time working hours.
• 🎯 Reliable, detail-oriented, and responsive with the ability to meet deadlines.
• 💡 Bonus skills: Motion graphics, color grading, or sound design experience.
