Works according to very precise specifications. **Candidates for a USA Machinist must meet the following requirements to be considered:** Must be skilled in the performance of various heat treatment processes. May work in job or production shops. In job shops, makes a wide variety of repair parts for many different types of machinery and industrial equipment in situations where waiting for a stock part might jeopardize production schedules.
